Lake and Pond Maintenance / Algae and Aquatic Weed Control
The maintenance of lakes and ponds is of critical importance as these waterways serve as part of the stormwater system. They also in many instances provide aesthetic and recreational benefit, and can affect property values. The knowledgeable team at Lake and Wetland Management is well versed in North Florida’s unique ecosystems, and can identify and remedy a variety of issues while providing best-in-class service.
Fountain and Aeration System Sales, Service and Installation
The addition of a floating fountain or aeration system can provide beauty and biological benefit to your lake or pond. As each waterway is unique, let Lake and Wetland Management’s staff help choose the best system for your investment. We work with a variety of manufacturers to sell, install, and maintain many types of fountains and aerators. We also service systems previously installed by others to give you a complete lake management package.
Fish Stocking and Fisheries Management
Fish are an important part of our ecosystem, and should be monitored and managed to ensure a healthy balance. Whether its Florida’s world-reknowned largemouth bass, the mosquito larvae eating Gambusia (also known as mosquitofish), or the biological aquatic weed control triploid grass carp, the biologists at Lake and Wetland Management can make the educated decision as to which species will be best for your lake or pond. We offer a variety of native species, including Florida largemouth bass, channel catfish, panfish, bluegill, bream, redear sunfish, and mosquitofish. We also offer triploid grass carp to control invasive species such as Hydrilla, where allowed by FWC permitting.
